Mark Reed has more than 25 years of high technology executive management and consulting experience and currently runs Portland, Oregon-based High Ground Partners, LLC. A noted authority on leadership and performance improvement, Mark is an adjunct professor of leadership with the Graduate School of Management at George Fox University, serves on several corporate and non-profit boards and is a sought-after featured speaker at prominent community events.
Mark founded High Ground Partners in 1997 and expanded the company in 2001 to include the High Ground Group. He currently leads the company and works hands-on to assist any type of firm in improving performance across all facets of their businesses including cost reduction initiatives and strategy realignments.
Since forming High Ground Partners, Mark has advised a variety of technology and services companies in the Pacific Northwest and served in the capacity of chairman, CEO, president, and senior vice president for such firms as In Focus Systems, Cord Communications, Lightware, Inc., EnvoyGlobal.com, Webtrends, @Once, and Encounter Collaborative. He has also undertaken strategic consulting projects with several companies including Clarity Visuals, Symantec, NetIQ, Qsent, Extensis, Fios, info USA and SAP America.
Before forming High Ground Partners, Mark was vice president of marketing and sales for a division of General Electric and senior vice president of sales, marketing, and services for InFocus Systems, where he became CEO for their first acquisition, Genigraphics Corporation. |
