Mark Nordlicht has been our chairman of the board since our inception. Mr. Nordlicht is the founder and sole managing member of the general partner of the Platinum Partners Value Arbitrage Fund, a New York based relative value fund launched in January 2003. The Value Arbitrage Fund employs various strategies across multiple asset classes and has a 20% concentration in energy derivatives. Mr. Nordlicht is the Chairman of Platinum Diversified Mining, Inc., a special purpose acquisition company focusing on the mining industry founded in 2006. In addition, Mr. Nordlicht is formerly the founder and general partner of Northern Lights Trading, a proprietary options trading firm based in New York which employed traders in the natural gas, crude oil, cotton, coffee, gold, and silver option trading pits. From 1998 through December 2002 Mr. Nordlicht was managing partner of West End Capital and WEC Asset Management, New York based private equity firms founded by Mr. Nordlicht. |
