Mr. Gilbreth was appointed as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. From April - July 2006, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and from August - December 18, 2006, he served as interim President and CEO. Prior to joining Capstone Mr. Gilbreth held several positions of increasing responsibility at Sundstrand Power Systems including lead engineer for the JAS39 and V22 APU controls development. He joined Capstone Turbine Corporation in 1995 to pioneer the development of the electronic control system for the 30kW MicroTurbine system. Since that time, he has held several engineering management positions leading technology development, which has resulted in several US Patents. Other positions at Capstone include Director Customer Service from 2001 to 2003, Program Manager of Capstone’s Reliability Tiger Team from 2003 to 2004, and Vice President Engineering from 2004 to 2006. Mr. Gilbreth received his Bachelors degree from San Diego State University. |
