Mr. Sirangelo has over 25 years experience in the executive management of fast growing aerospace, science and technology companies. Among his previous work experiences, Mr. Sirangelo was the founder and Managing Partner of the QuanStar Group, a strategic management and technology commercialization company that specialized in aerospace and advanced technology development. Mr. Sirangelo was also the principal founder, Chairman and CEO of PGI, Inc., an advanced global communication products and logistical services firm that he grew from a start-up of which became one of the largest private companies of its type, with over 20 operational centers throughout North America, Europe and Asia. In addition, Mr. Sirangelo was a partner and senior operating manager of two high tech engineering, communications and manufacturing firms and an international investment banking firm.
Among his awards and recognitions, he has, while CEO of one of his companies, accepted induction into the Space Technology Hall of Fame, a joint NASA/Space Foundation program to recognize the most significant businesses that had their origins in the United States Space Program. He has also received recognition from Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year program and Inc. Magazine’s List of the top 200 fastest growing private companies.
Mr. Sirangelo holds a Juris Doctorate degree, a Masters of Business degree and a Bachelor of Science degree. Mr. Sirangelo has been scientifically published and was involved in numerous global intellectual property filings. He served as an officer in the US military and is a graduate from the United States Army’s Judge Advocate General’s School where he focused on government and military technology issues.
His current non-profit board memberships include: Director of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Director and Treasurer of the International Center for Children. Mr. Sirangelo previously served as a trustee for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, was on the Board of Advisors of the University of Maryland and was a member of the International Business Roundtable and of the Young Presidents’ Organization. He has also been a licensed pilot for over 25 years and has been published as a photographer. |
