Mark Regante is a partner in the Tax Department of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP since 1987. His practice is devoted primarily to the tax aspects of asset financings, including leasing, project finance, securitization transactions and municipal finance transactions. He has represented lessors and lessees in lease financings of a wide range of equipment and facilities, and regularly represents financings parties in various asset finance structures.
Mr. Regante represented the lessees in the first "Pickle" lease of rolling stock and the first leveraged "ownership - FSC" lease transaction and he represented the equity investors in the first "Pickle" lease of a power plant and the first "service contract" lease financing. Mr. Regante has a large practice representing equity investors and lessees in U.S. lease transactions, regularly representing a number of major international airlines.
Mr. Regante received his undergraduate degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has a law degree from St. John's University, where he was an editor of the Law Review, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University.
He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the National Association of Bond Lawyers. |
