Mark J. Schoenfeld is a Managing Director focused on U.S. real estate opportunities. He is responsible for all aspects of real estate investments, with a geographic focus on Boston / New England and a product focus on hotels. Mr. Schoenfeld joined Carlyle in 1992 as its first real estate employee. He is based in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Schoenfeld was Senior Vice President and President of the special assets subsidiary of Perpetual Savings Bank, one of the largest S&Ls on the East Coast. While at Perpetual Savings, Mr. Schoenfeld managed the bank’s asset sales and loan workout operations. Before that, Mr. Schoenfeld was Managing Director of the Real Estate Finance division of MNC Investment Bank, which has since merged into Bank of America.
Mr. Schoenfeld is a summa cum laude graduate of Michigan State University and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. |
