Mark J. Lazberger is executive vice president and head of international businesses for State Street Global Advisors (SSgA). He is responsible for SSgA's business and investment teams outside of North America and also oversees the regional Chief Investment Officer positions for Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Mr. Lazberger previously served as President and CEO of State Street Japan and Regional Managing Director of SSgA Asia-Pacific, responsible for both Japanese and Australian funds management businesses. He joined SSgA in early 1993 after two years in State Street Corporation's International Treasury department.
Prior to State Street, Mr. Lazberger worked at the State Authorities Superannuation Board, Citibank, and the CRA group. He was also Inaugural President of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society of Sydney, a former member of the Editorial Review Board of the CFA Digest and a board member of CFA Society of Japan.
Mr. Lazberger has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and member of the CFA Institute.
