Description of Practice:
Mark Grushkin is a partner in Allen Matkins' Century City office. He is a member of the Tax Department, serves as Chair of the firm's Employee Benefits Department. During his nearly 30 years of practice, he has been involved in a wide variety of employee benefits matters, including pension, profit-sharing, employee stock ownership, welfare plans and deferred compensation plans. His practice focuses on providing clients with employee benefit services involving mergers and acquisitions, qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and litigation.
Mark has extensive experience representing employers in benefits disputes with the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor, and other government agencies. He has represented large public corporations, small and mid market companies, healthcare systems, nonprofit organizations, corporate trustees, and single employer plans.

Mark participates in numerous professional activities and is past president of the Employee Benefits Committee Subsection of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
Educational History:
He graduated from the California State University, Los Angeles with a B.S. in 1975, and went on to receive his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law in 1978. |
