Mr. Wilson was Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Planning at The Williams Companies where he was responsible for mergers & acquisitions ($2.8 billion of acquisitions and over $7 billion of divestitures), financial planning and budgeting, strategy development, profit and loss responsibility ($500 million revenue), corporate-wide capital allocation, portfolio management, enterprise risk management, new ventures development and management (started two new companies), alliance development, and financial restructuring. Prior to joining Williams, from 1997 to 2000, Mr. Wilson co-founded and developed the strategy and execution plan for Koch Investments Group, an internal private equity group at Koch Industries, Inc. where he served as Managing Director. He also served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Managing Director, Global Origination for Koch Petroleum Group (now Flint Hills Resources, LP), the largest business unit in Koch. Mr. Wilson was also responsible for almost $30 million of acquisitions, $300 million of divestitures, and profit and loss management while he was at Koch. Prior to Koch, Mr. Wilson spent two years as a Senior Associate at Booz?Allen & Hamilton, Inc. in the Energy and Chemicals Group, where he led management consulting engagements in strategy, supply chain management, business strategy and corporate positioning, business process improvement, cost reduction, mergers & acquisitions, and financial restructuring. He was also a Manager in the International Energy Directorate at Arthur D. Little, Inc. where he focused on business process re-engineering, strategy development/execution, and energy financial and economic evaluation primarily on international assignments in the Middle East, Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Mr. Wilson began his career as a Refinery Process Engineer at Conoco, Inc. Mr. Wilson received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from Oklahoma State University in 1988. He received a Masters in Business Administration degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1992. |
