Mr. Peterson is a partner in the Boise office of Moffatt Thomas. His practice focuses upon the areas of commercial litigation, health care law and workers' compensation. Mr. Peterson represents individuals and entities in a wide variety of commercial litigation cases. He also represents multiple medical providers in transactional and litigated matters. Further, Mr. Peterson represents employers and sureties at all stages of workers' compensation cases. Mr. Peterson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University and earned his Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School. While at Brigham Young, Mr. Peterson was active in Moot Court and was selected as a 1999 IL Top Oralist, 1999-2001 Team Member and Mentor for the 2L Competition. Mark was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Monte B. Carlson, at the Fifth District Court for the State of Idaho. He was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Larry M. Boyle at the United States District Court.Mr. Peterson is an active member of the Litigation, Health Care and Workers' Compensation Sections of the Idaho State Bar. Currently, Mr. Peterson serves as the Treasurer/Secretary for the Health Law Section. Mr. Peterson is a member of the Idaho State Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Idaho. An Idaho native, Mr. Peterson is active in the community as a volunteer. He volunteers as an attorney for the CASA program, representing abused and neglected children. Mr. Peterson has also served as a member of the board and as a coach for North Boise Little League. |
