Mark practices in the public law and real estate areas. His work includes all facets of commercial real estate and construction practice, with an emphasis on the development, leasing, financing and construction aspects of public projects such as sports and entertainment facilities, convention centers, educational facilities, recreational facilities, and other public facilities.
Mark also has extensive experience in the leasing acquisition, development, financing and rehabilitation of hotels, multifamily projects, restaurant sites and shopping centers.
Mark has been active in representing liquidity banks and letter-of-credit banks in both traditional and non-traditional tax-exempt bond transactions involving school districts, public universities and health care providers.
As part of his traditional real estate practice, Mark continues to represent both landlords and tenants in office, retail and restaurant leasing transactions. He also has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting construction and project development documents for multimillion-dollar projects.
