Mr. Nesci became our Chief Executive Officer and Director upon closing of the Merger Transaction on April 13, 2006. Previously, Mr. Nesci was an Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Director from 1999. Mr. Nesci has been employed by us since 1972, beginning his career as a part-time Stock Associate while in high school. In 1976 he was promoted to Store Manager, followed by District Manager in 1980. He became Vice President of Real Estate in 1982, and Vice President of Store Operations in 1983. Mr. Nesci was elected to the Board of Directors in 1989 and gained the title of Chief Operating Officer in 1990. In 1999, he was promoted to Executive Vice President.
