Mark Semanie is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Bay National Bank. A Certified Public Accountant, Mark also serves as compliance officer and director of human resources.
Prior to joining Bay National Bank, Mark was executive vice president and chief financial officer for Agency Services, Inc. Mark has a wealth of knowledge in accounting, finance, insurance and human resources having worked at the internationally recognized accounting firm of KPMG LLP, and as Manager of Securities and Exchange Commission and Shareholder reporting at USF&G.
A native of Connecticut, Mr. Semanie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bentley College. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Agency Insurance Company of Maryland, Inc. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, and Financial Executives International. |
