MARK A. CARNEY - Executive Vice President and Director. Mr. Carney is the former Chief Executive Officer and founder of Andara Life Science, Inc., which was acquired by Cyberkinetics in February 2006. Mr. Carney was a founder of Andara and he a has a proven record in the healthcare services industry for maximizing market position and shareholder value. Prior to his role at Andara, from 2002 to 2004, he served as Senior Vice President at Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., following the acquisition of Outsourced Administrative Services, where he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 2000 until 2002. At the time of the acquisition of Outsourced Administrative Services, Outsourced Administrative Services Mr. Carney had managed an 83% increase in the company�s revenues to a total of $22 million. Mr. Carney was Senior Vice President at the Centris Group, Inc. following the acquisition of The Interra Group of Companies, where he was President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. At the time of the acquisition by Centris, Mr. Carney had achieved revenues of $100 million for the Company. At Purdue University, Mr. Carney earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1981 and completed requirements for his Master of Science Degree in Community Health in 1983. |
