Marion focuses her practice on the representation of management in labor and employment law matters. She has been involved in handling cases involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, retaliation, breach of contract, restrictive covenants and other related employment torts. Marion also frequently counsels clients on statutory issues, employer policies, hiring and discharge of employees, internal investigations, and employee training and evaluations. In addition, Marion has been involved with the Products Liability and Mass Tort Practice Group defending clients in the pharmaceutical industry.
In General. Marion received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Douglas College of Rutgers University, New Brunswick. In 2002, she received her J.D. magna cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law. While in law school, Marion contributed to the Constitutional Law Journal, and interned for the Hon. Elijah L. Miller, Jr. of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division and at the Youth Advocacy Center of Covenant House.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Marion had an established career in special education. She earned a M.Ed. in special education from the University of Vermont, and was employed as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant for the Fair Lawn Board of Education.
Affiliations. Marion is admitted to the New Jersey and the New York State Bars, the United States District Court for the Districts of New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, and the New Jersey and New York State Bar Associations. |
