Mr. Harik serves as Tallan’s Chief Technology Officer. Prior to this role, Mr. Harik served as a Senior Architect at Tallan where he worked on evangelizing Tallan’s technology leadership to customers in the retail, financial services, banking, media and utility services industries. Mr. Harik currently leads the SOA and BPM practice at Tallan and is part of the Microsoft Virtual Technical Specialist (VTS) team for BizTalk Server. He is also on the advisory council for Oslo, Microsoft’s model-driven platform for implementing SOA. At Tallan, besides working with customers on project implementations, Mr. Harik leads the Tallan Architecture Committee (TAC), a group that focuses on technology readiness and best practices as well as collaboration. Prior to Tallan, Mr. Harik worked as a Solutions Architect with Adea Solutions where he co-founded G3 Analyst, a software framework that was acquired by Tallan in 2005. G3 is a self-service analytics solution that used complex visualizations and statistical models for web and IVR analytics. He also worked with the communications sector with clients such as Verizon Communications. Mr. Harik earned a Master Degree in Engineering in Information Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology focusing on statistical models in the context of document classification and search. |
