Marilynn Tham is a Shareholder resident in the San Francisco office, and a member of the firm’s Business Practices and Bank and Finance Group where she concentrates on commercial finance and secured transactions.
Ms. Tham represents banks, financial institutions, commercial finance companies, mortgage companies, asset-based lenders and other specialty lenders nationally in a broad variety of financing transactions, including both single lender and agent banks in complex, syndicated transactions. She has worked on transactions involving emerging growth, private and public companies in a range of industries including the technology, life sciences, real estate, retail, and health care industries.
Ms. Tham is currently Chair of the Business Law Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco, an executive committee member of the Corporate Counsel Committee of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section, and an active participant in various community and civic organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Ms. Tham earned her B.B.A. summa cum laude at Ohio University and her J.D. at the University of San Francisco School of Law where she co-authored an article published in the University of San Francisco Law Review.
