~Marianne D’Aquila was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Fort Worth, a non-profit community service organization whose mission is to provide hope and help to persons in financial need. Currently, Ms. D’Aquila’s primary responsibilities focus on human resources, benefits, quality development and training with Money Management International. Prior to joining CCCS in 1992, Ms. D’Aquila had over 20 years experience in the credit industry. She was the National Director of Credit Sales and Operations at Hartmarx Specialty Stores (the retail division of Hart Schaffner and Marx) from 1986 1992. From 1979 to 1986 she worked for Zales Jewelers at their credit centrals in California, Arizona and finally the World Headquarters in Irving, Texas. Prior to that she held various management positions in the Sears Roebuck Midwest Credit Center in Toledo, Ohio.Ms. D’Aquila served on the Board of Directors of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling for ten years and was the Chairman of the Board. She served on the International Credit Association Board of Directors and was a member of the Executive Committee. Ms. D’Aquila currently serves on the First Command Education Foundation Board of Directors. Additional professional affiliations include State Education Chair for the Texas Retail Credit Executive Group, Merchants Research Council, National Retail Federation, Chair of the Duncanville Chamber of Commerce, and the Society of Certified Credit Executives. She is a member of Rotary International and the University Area Kiwanis and in 2003 was recognized as the Kiwanian of the year.Ms. D’Aquila has had articles published in national magazines including Woman’s Day, Family Circle, Spirit, Bureau of Business Practice, Credit World and Credit and Collection Manager’s Magazine. She has made television appearances on several shows including Good Morning America. |
