Marian Hwang Biography :

Marian Hwang has been an environmental attorney with the firm since 1987 and Chairs the Environmental Practice Group. Her primary practice focuses on general environmental and toxic tort litigation, regulatory compliance and permitting matters. She serves as environmental counsel on real estate, corporate and commercial transactions, as chair of a Superfund Steering Committee, and as liaison counsel in complex multi-defendant Superfund cases. Representative clients include real estate developers, automobile dealerships, lending institutions, manufacturing concerns, transporters and CERCLA/Superfund steering committees. Ms. Hwang has authored and lectured extensively before the American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Government Institutes, National Business Institute, MICPEL and corporations on various environmental subjects. She also serves on the firm’s Diversity Committee and has been named as one of America’s Best Lawyers in America (Environmental Law) in 2007 and 2008.
