Ms. Drenth primarily concentrates her practice in healthcare litigation defending hospitals, physicians and other healthcare professionals. She provides legal assistance and guidance to physicians, hospitals and healthcare providers including counseling healthcare professionals and hospitals in claims prevention. Ms. Drenth’s experience also includes representing clients in premises liability claims, automobile claims, daycare center liability, gymnastic studio/dance studio liability, and a variety of other personal injury matters. Prior to joining Spangler, Jennings & Dougherty, P.C., she was a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the Porter County Prosecutor’s Office and she worked as an associate attorney with Daniel G. Suber & Associates concentrating her practice in insurance defense. Marian Drenth primarily focuses her practice in medical malpractice, general liability and personal injury litigation. She has represented physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, clinics, and hospitals providing legal assistance and guidance in claims prevention as well as representing clients before the medical review panel and in mediations. Ms. Drenth has tried medical negligence cases before various State Courts in Indiana and has substantial trial experience in other personal injury matters as well. Marian Drenth is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana and the Porter County American Inns of Court where she serves as a member of the Board of Directors and as Secretary and Treasurer.
