Margaret (Meg) is a member of the firm's land use and litigation departments. Her litigation experience includes work in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining Meyers Nave, Meg was an associate with Fox & Sohagi where she handled cases involving procedural and substantive due process claims, takings issues, First Amendment claims, CEQA and water law issues. Meg also has handled all aspects of litigation in cases involving fraud, breach of contract, antitrust, intellectual property and breach of trust claims.Meg received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law where she earned the Order of the Coif, membership to the Thurston Society, and American Jurisprudence awards for excellence in Evidence and Constitutional Law. While at Hastings, she was a law clerk with the Alameda County District Attorney's Office and an advocate for indigent clients at Hastings' Civil Justice Clinic. Meg earned her B.A. in Political Economy from the Colorado College.Meg is admitted to practice in the California state courts and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of California. |
