Marcy Newman Hart is a partner with Klehr, Harrison, Harvey, Branzburg & Ellers LLP and is a member of the firm's Real Estate and Finance and Corporate and Securities Departments.
Her practice concentrates in the representation of real estate equity funds and investments in connection with the formation of funds and the acquisition, redevelopment and repositioning of a full spectrum of real estate asset classes including office, retail, industrial, multi-family, resort-residential and hospitality.
Ms. Hart has extensive experience in all areas of real estate and banking law, representing lenders, borrowers and developers in various real estate acquisitions, as well as construction, development, financing and disposition transactions.
Ms. Hart's recent transactions include:
Representation of real estate equity fund(s) in the acquisition and ground-up development of several limited service hotels, full service resorts, condo-hotels and convention centers in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Carribbean;
Representation of real estate equity fund(s) in the acquisition, development and disposition of warehouse portfolios in Texas and New Orleans;
Representation of real estate developers in various projects using federal and state affordable housing and historic tax credits. |
