With more than 8 years in the nursing field, and three of those years working with central nervous system research trials, Marci Smith brings solid qualifications to her role as site manager. Ms. Smith earned her LVN from AMED Center and Schools (US Army) in 1998. Prior to joining eStudySite, she was nursing coordinator for Community Research Foundation, LVN II for Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital, and LPN in the US Army Reserves. She holds a number of research training certifications including ACRP; CPR certification from the American Red Cross; as well as eCRF training and experience with IntraLinks, InForm, Impala, COOL, and QDS. She has completed HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations training as well as the RAN Institute GCP Test for Clinical Research Coordinators. Clinical trials experience includes Schizophrenia; Bipolar Disorder; Alzheimer’s Disorder/Cognitive Impairment; Major Depressive Disorder; Insomnia; Anxiety Disorders; Pathological Gambling/Addition; Adolescent/Pediatric; and Adult ADHD. Ms. Smith has also completed clinical research training with Eli Lilly. |
