Marc L. Potter joined the Dubai World group at the beginning of 2005 and as Senior Manager – Operations for Leisurecorp LLC (a wholly owned subsidiary of Istithmar Real Estate) he is responsible to direct operations at all of the group’s Leisure related assets. Leisurecorp LLC’s aim is to develop green field projects and/or acquire existing assets including one or more of the following components: resorts, marinas, golf facilities and other sport and leisure oriented mixed use developments.
Potter began his career in private golf clubs, managing club operations at some of the countries premier facilities within Australia. His rapid growth in the golf industry saw him join Troon Golf and move to facilities in the Middle East and UK, before returning to Dubai to oversee operations, provide consulting services and assist with the development of the company’s corporate office.
Marc graduated from La Trobe University in 1996 with a B. Bus (H.M.). Prior to him relocating overseas, Marc served on the University’s Academic Board and now resides in Dubai.
