Marc Poirier has been a General Partner with @Ventures since 1998, and he has more than sixteen years of experience working with entrepreneurial companies. He currently serves on the boards of Foodbuy, H2Gen, Molecular, Open Channel Solutions, Realm Business Solutions, and WebCT, and he is a board observer at ObjectVideo. Prior to joining @Ventures, Mr. Poirier was a founding employee of CMGI's Planet Direct subsidiary, where he served as a Vice President in several operational and functional capacities, including finance and business development. He also spent eight years at Ernst & Young in both the Entrepreneurial Services Group and in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group, where he was a Senior Manager. Mr. Poirier received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Providence College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. |
