Marc Katsanis has been associated with Chaffe & Associates, Inc., since 1996. As vice president his duties include the performance of business research and valuations of privately held partnership, limited liability company and corporate ownership interests, restricted stock, stock options and warrants. Mr. Katsanis is accredited in business valuation (ABV), a certified public accountant (CPA), and a chartered financial analyst (CFA). Mr. Katsanis received a B.B.A. degree in finance and accounting from Loyola University in New Orleans, where he graduated magna cum laude and joined the Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi honor societies. He is a member of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA), the CFA Institute (CFA), the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP), the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Mr. Katsanis is an expert in the valuation of employee stock options and non-traded warrants. He is the creator of the Valrex(tm) model for valuing non-traded employee stock options and warrants. He has also authored articles on employee stock option valuation that have appeared in nationally distributed periodicals including The CPA Journal and The Journal of Employee Ownership Law and Finance. |
