Marc L. Ugol joined Constellation Energy in 2002 as Vice President Human Resources. In this position Mr. Ugol has overall responsibility for Constellation Energy’s Human Resources Division overseeing all compensation and benefits staffing labor relations and organizational effectiveness matters for the corporation.
Prior to this he was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Tellabs Inc. a $3.5 billion global manufacturer of high technology telecommunications products and services that ranked for two consecutive years as one of Fortune Magazine’s “Top 100 Companies to Work for in America.” From 1996-1999 he was Vice President of Human Resources at Platinum Technology Inc. a fast-growing software development and consulting firm that averaged two acquisitions per month. From 1994-1996 he was Director of Human Resources at System Software Associates Inc.
Mr. Ugol also spent 14 years (1980-1994) with Amoco Corporation in a variety of domestic and international human resources management positions including four years as Director of Human Resources for Amoco Norway based in Stavanger Norway.
Born and raised in Bethesda Maryland Mr. Ugol holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University and completed Cornell’s Human Resources Advanced Management Program. |
