Marc Lichtman joined TechTeam in December 2003 as Global Corporate Controller. In August 2004, Mr. Lichtman was appointed to serve as Vice President of Accounting Operations and Chief Accounting Officer. In June 2006, Mr. Lichtman was appointed to serve as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer. As CFO and Treasurer, Mr. Lichtman is responsible for the Company's investor relations activities, corporate treasury operations and management, and financial functions including global accounting operations and internal controls, financial budgeting and forecasting processes, and U.S. Security and Exchange Commission reporting activities.
Prior to joining TechTeam, Mr. Lichtman was a partner in the Assurance and Business Advisory Practice of Arthur Andersen LLP in southeastern Michigan, where he was employed from 1989 until 2001. Most recently Mr. Lichtman served as a principal with Ernst & Young LLP following the consolidation of Andersen's southeastern Michigan offices with Ernst & Young in 2002. While at Andersen, Mr. Lichtman performed audit and business advisory services for over 100 different organizations, primarily in the technology, manufacturing, and professional services industries. Mr. Lichtman is a 1989 graduate of Michigan State University in East Lansing and a Certified Public Accountant.
