Manolis Kotzabasakis joined AspenTech in 1997, and is responsible for AspenTech’s worldwide sales operations and business development. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Marketing, directing the company’s activities related to business planning, corporate and product marketing, alliances, and mergers and acquisitions. Kotzabasakis served as Chief Executive Officer at Linnhoff March, a process software and design firm, prior to his association with AspenTech. He was an associate professor in Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) in the United Kingdom from 1987 to 1992. Kotzabasakis holds PhD and MSc degrees in Chemical Engineering from UMIST, and a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. |
