As a junior partner in the Firm’s Corporate and Securities Law Group and the Franchise Department, Manal Zakhary Hall assists corporations and businesses in various aspects of general corporate and securities-related areas from the start-up phase through the merger or sale of the company. Her focus includes assisting small to medium-sized businesses in all aspects of starting, running and expanding their companies, including entity formation, venture capital financing, franchising, mergers and acquisitions and asset purchases and sales, as well as corporate and franchise compliance matters and dispute resolution. Having been a securities litigator for a short period, Manal brings a rather unique perspective to the transactional practice group at Jones Waldo. Her clients have included corporations such as Lehman Brothers, Sundance Doors, Inc. and Spectrum Home Services, Inc.
Manal started her career in New York City, after graduating from Fordham University School of Law in 1993. As a Notes and Articles Editor of the Fordham Law Review, Manal published an article, entitled, The Applicability of the Fair Use Defense to Commercial Advertising: Eliminating Unfounded Limitations. Prior to that, she attended the University of Rochester where she got her B.A. in American History. Having been born in Cairo, Egypt prior to coming to the United States when she was seven years old, Manal speaks Arabic and French. |
