Malcolm S. Morris oversees the financial stability and improvements in efficiency of the company’s title insurer operations. In addition, Mr. Morris plays an active role in both state and national regulatory matters affecting the title insurance industry.
Mr. Morris received his bachelor of business administration from Southern Methodist University, a master’s degree in business administration and his doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Texas. Mr. Morris also attended Harvard School's Program of Instruction for Lawyers.
Involved in many organizations, Mr. Morris is a member of Houston Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, and is a fellow of the Houston and American Bar Foundations. He served as president of both the Texas Land Title Association and the American Land Title Association.
Mr. Morris is also an active civic leader, having served as Chairman of Deacons of Houston’s First Baptist Church, and Chairman of Living Water International, a 501(c)(3) Christian service organization that provides water for hospitals, schools, churches, orphanages and villages in developing countries. Through his involvement in Living Water International, he founded and serves as Chairman of the Millennium Water Alliance of American non-profit organizations with a common goal to bring clean water to 500 million people by the year 2015. |
