Description of Practice:
Lynn, a partner in our San Diego office, has expertise in a wide range of real estate practice areas, including sales and acquisition transactions and commercial leasing in large-scale office, industrial and retail projects. However, a majority of her practice focuses on two specialty areas: common interest development/Department of Real Estate regulatory work and construction contracts.
Lynn's common interest/condominium work spans a large variety of project types, including high-rise, urban in-fill, single family, mixed-use and office/industrial development. In her residential practice, she has worked both with national publicly held builders and smaller local builders, as well as numerous condominium converters and urban high-rise developers in preparing their community documentation and processing their projects through the California Department of Real Estate. Her commercial practice includes work with converters and other specialty common interest developers such as hospitals and hotels.
Lynn's wide-ranging experience includes drafting and negotiating architectural/consultant contracts and construction contracts for high-rise residential, office and industrial projects. She has also worked with builders and developers in creating standard form construction document packages and custom general contracts.
Prior to practicing law, Lynn worked as an architect for over ten years, where she designed and provided construction administration for shopping centers, medical facilities and other commercial projects.
Lynn is admitted to practice law in California and is a member of the American Bar Association, California State Bar Association and San Diego County Bar Association. She is a board member of the Building Industry Association of California, BIA Cares for Kids.
Educational History:
Lynn received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the California Western School of Law in 1996, her M.A. in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984, and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981. |
