Lynda M. Gilbert, CPA is a Partner in the Assurance and Advisory Services Department of Carlin, Charron & Rosen, LLP's Providence, RI office. She graduated cum laude from Rhode Island College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Ms. Gilbert was the 2006 Accounting Honor Roll recipient presented by the Rhode Island College Alumni Association in recognition of her achievements in the accounting field. Ms. Gilbert has nearly 15 years of experience in auditing, accounting and financial reporting services to clients in the New England region. She was with the firm of Suls, Westgate & Parente in Providence when that firm merged with CCR in 2000. She directs engagements for publicly-held and closely-held commercial entities in the manufacturing, service, distribution, and construction industries. She is a member of CCR's Quality Control Advisory Group, which is responsible for implementing quality control standards, monitoring compliance with those standards and ensuring that our engagements and personnel comply with the applicable professional standards and the firm's standards of quality. Ms. Gilbert also practices in the audits of pension plans, not-for-profit entities and development stage companies. Ms. Gilbert is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is a member of the Accounting and Auditing Committee of the RISCPA and is treasurer of the board of directors of Providence CityArts for Youth. |
