Lyle has over 35 years experience in land and timber acquisitions, dispositions, and trades. As the senior land and timber appraiser for Weyerhaeuser Company, he cruised and appraised timber sales, land and timber purchases, right-of-ways, trespasses, and land exchanges. The acquisition program included the purchase of over 2000 acres of 20 to 100 acre parcels, to the acquisition of over 280,000 acres from Georgia Pacific outside of Springfield, Oregon. His experience also includes the buying and selling of logs and timber. He has marketed logs from Washington to California and understands the values and costs associated with harvesting timber products in the Pacific Northwest. He offers valuable insight when looking at potential acquisitions - from maximizing the value of the forest products to recognizing the full real estate development potential of a parcel.
