Lydia Marti received her A. B. from Princeton University in 1983 and her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 1986, where she was on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology. After law school, Lydia practiced real estate and corporate law at the Chicago office of Schiff Hardin & Waite for several years. She also worked as a professor at Payap University in Chiang Mai, Thailand for one year and performed in the Second City Children's Show for a season. At Princeton, she founded the Princeton University Tigressions, an all-female a capella singing group that has performed in the U.S and abroad for over a decade. She is a triathlete and a mountain climber.
Lydia began recruiting in 1991, and joined Major, Lindsey & Africa in 1994. She has placed partners and associates with numerous national and local law firms and corporations.
