Luis Blancas is an Associate based in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining MergeGlobal in 2006 he worked at the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, where he conducted research and statistical analysis on topics ranging from fiscal policy in oil producing countries to the effect of supply chain variables on global bilateral trade flows. Before his experience in international organizations, he was a management consultant in Mexico and Central America at Deloitte Consulting. Mr. Blancas holds an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, and a B.A. in Economics from Mexico's Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. He is fluent in English and Spanish. |
