Luciano Cattani was named vice president, group president, international, in April 2005. Mr. Cattani is responsible for Stryker’s businesses outside of the Americas. The international divisions reporting to him have full operational responsibilities, with the exception of product manufacturing.
Mr. Cattani joined Stryker in May 2001 as senior vice president of EMEA and was promoted to president of EMEA that same year.
Prior to joining Stryker, Mr. Cattani held numerous positions within Pfizer, Inc., as vice president, public affairs; vice president, southern europe; president & CEO, Pfizer Italiana; vice president sales Howmedica Europe; and general manager of Howmedica’s Italy, Greece and Switzerland divisions. Before his tenure with Pfizer, Mr. Cattani began his career with Exxon Italy, where he held various roles across multiple functions.
Mr. Cattani holds a degree in Economics from the University of Rome. |
