Louis A. Wharton Louis A. Wharton is a Senior Counsel of the Firm. Louis received his A.B. from Harvard University in 1998 and his J.D. in 2001 from Stanford Law School. He is a member of the California Bar. Louis practice focuses on securities compliance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters for emerging growth and middle market companies. Louis work in the securities compliance area involves a variety of 33 Act and 34 Act work for several of the Firm public clients. His practice in the corporate finance area involves public offerings and private placements of both equity and debt securities. In addition, Louis mergers and acquisitions practice involves a variety of public and private negotiated mergers, strategic acquisitions and divestitures.
