Lori L. Shannon is counsel to in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice. Her practice includes designing, drafting and rendering advice to both taxable and tax-exempt clients with respect to retirement plans, health and welfare benefit plans, nonqualified plans and executive compensation arrangements. Lori also provides advice to clients regarding employee benefit and executive compensation issues in the context of corporate mergers, acquisitions, spinoffs and consolidations.
Before she joined the firm, Lori was a human resources consultant at Ernst & Young LLP and was an associate at the Chicago law firm of Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum Perlman & Nagelberg LLP.
In General. Lori received a bachelor's degree from Elmhurst College in February 1994. That same year, she became a certified public accountant. She graduated with honors from DePaul University College of Law in 1997, where she was a member of the DePaul Law Review and the Order of the Coif. |
