Ms. Jeffries, a partner in the Business and Finance Department, received her bachelor's degree from Miami University and her Juris Doctor from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law, magna cum laude and Order of the Curia. While in law school, she served as the General Issue Editor of the Northern Kentucky Law Review. Ms. Jeffries joined the firm in 1997. She counsels clients on a wide variety of general business matters but her practice is concentrated on transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, bank loans and other financing transactions, real estate matters and securities offerings. She is a member of the firm's Professional Women's Resource Group (PWRG) and currently serves as president of the Board for Madcap Productions Puppet Theater, co- vice president of the Board for Historic Southwest Ohio, volunteer and chair of the Marketing Committee for 100 Wise Women, and is on the Boards of Coney Island, Inc. and Leisure Systems, Inc. She was selected by Cincinnati Magazine as a 2005 Super Lawyers Rising Star and was selected for the We Lead program, which is sponsored by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce.
