Lorenzo Martinelli is E2open's Senior Vice President responsible for corporate strategy and global alliances.
He joined E2open in 2001 and was part of the Executive team that shaped the company to its current leadership position having responsibility for go-to-market functions such as global sales, solutions engineering, marketing and account management. Martinelli brings over 20 years of experience in strategy, marketing, sales, account management and business development in enterprise applications for the industrial sector specializing over the last 10 years on the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery model. Prior to joining E2open, Martinelli was Vice President Marketing, Sales and Account Management at AristaSoft, a hosted software provider delivering integrated enterprise applications to emerging high-tech electronics companies. Prior to joining AristaSoft, Martinelli spent five years at The Baan Company, most recently as Vice President, Global Strategic Marketing. During his tenure, the company's revenues rose from $20M to over $600M. Martinelli began his career at IBM and Digital Equipment where he held positions in software development, system engineering, professional services and sales related to application software in the industrial sector. Martinelli earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada, with a specialization in Operations Research and Organizational Behavior. |
