Loren Poulsen’s expertise spans the breadth of antitrust economics including market definition, entry analysis, and competitive effects in a wide array of industries and applications, including consumer products, medical devices, industrial products and health care. His specific areas of specialty include empirical analyses in both litigation and merger analyses. In that context, he has considerable experience and expertise in large scale databases and complex analyses. He joined COMPASS in 2005 from CapAnalysis. Prior to that time, he taught microeconomics at George Mason University while pursuing his doctorate. He has a Ph.D., Economics from George Mason University, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Dallas, B.S., Economics, 1994. |
