Represented the Gasconade County, MO School District in a multi-site, $16 million improvement and new construction program.
On behalf of a St. Louis-based contractor, managed the $36 million upgrade of a sewer system - including the creation of a 10-million-gallon detention chamber beneath an exclusive, existing subdivision - in Atlanta, GA .
Represented the contractor on the construction close-out of the $100 million Ameristar Casino. In less than 30 days, he attained 99.9% completion of a 6,000-item punch list.
Represented the owner, Ferguson-Florissant School District, over the life of the $28 million Berkley High School construction project.
Prior to CCS Group:
Pooker was a principal and the operations manager of a St. Louis-based general contractor for 18 years, where he also oversaw estimating and scheduling. The company concentrated on public sector assignments that required it to build new or to renovate classroom, office and residential space for school districts and government agencies. Primary clients included the Bayless, Clayton, Hazelwood, Francis Howell, Ladue, Lindbergh, Parkway and St. Louis school districts; and various federal agencies, including Veteran's Administration.
