Mr. Pickell concentrated in accounting, auditing and taxation courses at Elizabethtown College. He has continued with professional education to sustain his Public Accountant license. Upon joining Union National in 1964, Mr. Pickell installed and managed the Bank’s first automated data processing punch card system. From there, he worked with Trout Ebersole & Groff CPA’s as a staff accountant. He also served as the Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer for Breathing Services, Inc. In 1973, he became self-employed as an accountant. In addition, he is the Secretary and Controller for J.B. Hostetter & Sons, Inc. and the Secretary and Treasurer for Grandview Meadows, Inc. Mr. Pickell is the Founder and Chairman of L&C Promotions, an organization that promotes gospel music concerts to raise funds for charitable purposes. In addition, he is involved with the Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants. Mr. Pickell has been a Director of the Corporation since 2001. |
