LK Wong leads Asian Operations for Myvu Corporation and is responsible for new product development and managing the manufacturing, sourcing and assembly processes for all myvu product lines. LK has over 25 years of experience in various fields including R&D, Program Management, Sales & Marketing and General Management. A significant portion of his past career has been with US based multi-national companies.
LK previously worked in the R&D arm of a defense organization in Singapore, as well as Conner Peripherals and Rockwell Semiconductors. While serving as Rockwell’s Country Manager for South Asia, LK helped to grow revenue to more than $100 million. He also was with Avnet in their Asia Headquarters in Singapore, running the semiconductor business unit. LK started this unit, and assisted in the growth of a 50 person staff with locations all over Asia. During this period, he had P & L responsibility for semiconductor sales of over $ 200M per annum.
LK has a degree in mechanical engineering from Singapore Polytechnic. In the course of his career he has continued his education taking courses in various technological & management fields. |
