Ms. Nelson joined Investor Growth Capital in 1998, where she is Co-Head of the firm’s Healthcare group. Prior to IGC, she spent 10 years with Pfizer, where she held various positions in finance, strategy, contracting, marketing, business development and operating management. This included co-founding and leading Pfizer’s healthcare services business. Prior to Pfizer, she was with The Boston Consulting Group and Warburg, Pincus, where in both cases she focused on healthcare and life science companies. Ms. Nelson currently serves on the Boards of Ception Therapeutics, Epigenesis Pharmaceuticals and Solstice Neurosciences. Ms. Nelson holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from the Yale School of Management and a B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. |
