Liz has over 23 years of experience in research and development and regulatory and clinical affairs in the medical device industry. Prior to joining Evalve as Vice President of Regulatory and Clinical Affairs in February, 2002, she was Vice President of Research and Development and Clinical Affairs at Endovascular Technologies. From 1994 until 1996, Liz led product development at Pilkington Barnes Hind (PBH), a medical device company that develops and manufactures novel contact lens products, as Vice President of Research and Development and Regulatory Affairs. During her tenure at PBH, Liz served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Contact Lens Institute. In 1984 she joined Advanced Cardiovascular Systems, now a division of Guidant Corporation, as a project engineer and went on to hold a variety of leadership positions over 10 years, including Director of Research and Development and Director of Regulatory and Clinical Affairs. Liz has a B.S. and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and serves on the Case School of Engineering Visiting Committee. |
