Ms. Olivera is TCS's Director of Online Learning. She is a senior laboratory manager with proven clinical and management skills. She has held the positions of Outreach Manager and Quality Assurance Manager at Excell Clinical Laboratories, where her responsibilities included the management and budgeting of the Specimen Processing, Phlebotomy, Client Services, Courier and Billing departments. In this position, she designed, implemented and maintained the laboratory safety program, quality assurance initiatives, continuing education programs, point of care testing program, and ensured compliance with state and regulatory agencies. She served as the laboratory representative on various committees for the Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, such as the JCAHO Task Force, Quality Review Board, Patient Safety Committee and Performance Improvement Council.

With TCS, Ms. Olivera has provided hundreds of clients with on-site compliance assessments and trainings in the areas of OSHA, CLIA, CAP, ADA, controlled substances, risk management and JCAHO (lab). Subsequently she held the position of Manager of Client Services, where she was responsible for management of personnel in customer services, MSDS, administrative and production support departments.

As Laboratory Manager at Great Brook Valley Health Center, Worcester, MA, she supervised both the Great Brook Valley and Burncoat Health center clinical laboratories. In this position, she managed the daily operations of technical staff, developed policy and procedure manuals and evaluated new instrumentation. Her duties also included laboratory staff evaluations, and yearly OSHA, phlebotomy and point of care training for nurses, CNA's and medical assistants. She has also held a teaching position at Salters College in laboratory techniques.

Ms. Olivera obtained her BS degree in Medical Technology from the University of Massachusetts and her Masters in Business Administration from Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA. She has been a delegate for the Citizens Ambassador Program-People to People Mission to China and is also fluent in Spanish.
