Dr Liu is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. She received her medical degree from the Inner Mongolia Medical College, Hohhot, People’s Republic of China, and holds a doctorate from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr Liu completed residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and the University of Louisville. She then completed a fellowship in gastrointestinal pathology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Dr Liu has extensive research experience in areas including molecular biology and pharmacology. She also has a number of publications in peer reviewed journals and has presented frequently in national academic meetings. Her latest clinical research in GI pathology has resulted in publications in American Journal of Surgical Pathology and Modern Pathology. |
