Lisbeth W. Cload graduated from Boston University in 1969 with a B.A. in Government and in 1968 from a specialized program at the University of Lyons (France). She received her law degree from Pace School of Law in 1986, and served as judicial clerk to The Honorable Edward J. Van Tassel, J.S.C. in Bergen County, New Jersey.
Ms. Cload is experienced in handling complex, multi-party commercial litigation, including contract and business disputes, fraud and consumer fraud, insurance coverage and bad faith and class action defense at the trial and appellate levels. She has represented the bankruptcy trustee on claims of breach of fiduciary duty and fraudulent conveyance. She also handles trademark matters.
Ms. Cload is admitted to the bars of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the District IIB Ethics Committee (South Bergen), and has acted as a court-appointed mediator in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County. Ms. Cload is a member of the Bergen County and the New Jersey Bar Associations. |
